Get ready to dive in! The materials for the POWER course will be made available during the "Face-to-Face Clean Energy Cafes" between June and September 2026. After that, they will be available to you as Open Educational Resources (OERs) under a Creative Commons Share Alike licence.
These resources are available here on this platform as well as on EPALE and the Erasmus+ project results platform and are aimed at all teachers, trainers and curious people who want to do something about clean energy and misinformation. Open, free and ready for you!
Participants of the Clean Energy Cafés have the unique opportunity to earn a certification of participation and the Clean Energy Disinformation Analyst badge, which formally recognises their acquired skills and contributions during the programme. This certification is designed to demonstrate your expertise in analysing misinformation, developing counter-narratives, and advocating for clean energy solutions.
Certification criteria
To obtain certification and the badge, participants must fulfil the following criteria:

Attendance: Attend at least 90% of the sessions in the five-day programme and participate in key events such as the Clean Energy Cafés and Living Labs to ensure full engagement with the content and activities.

Active participation and collaboration: Engage meaningfully in group discussions, collaborative tasks, and practical exercises, demonstrating the ability to apply the knowledge gained to real-life scenarios. Work effectively in interdisciplinary teams, integrating diverse perspectives to tackle clean energy challenges and create innovative solutions

Completion of practical exercises: Successfully complete all assigned practical exercises, including analysing misinformation, developing counter-arguments, and designing communication strategies for clean energy solutions. Participation in experiential scenarios and simulations is also required.

Knowledge assessment: Complete all required assessments, including initial and final evaluations, reflection tasks, and satisfaction questionnaires, to demonstrate understanding of key concepts such as media literacy, clean energy narratives, and disinformation strategies.
Recognition
The “Clean Energy Disinformation Analyst” certification and badge are based on European standards such as DigComp 2.2 and ESCO and emphasise your skills in the areas of digital competence, communication and content creation. The badge serves as a digital credential that can be shared on professional platforms such as LinkedIn and strengthens your academic and professional profile.
By fulfilling these criteria, you will not only receive recognition for your efforts, but also join a growing community of people who want to make a difference and have the tools to combat misinformation and promote sustainable energy practises.
